GreenWood started business in 2004. We design and supply GreenWood sheds, barns, cattle yards, farm bridges, Small Homes, Cabins and other products right across New Zealand.
In several regions of NZ, GreenWood is the largest distributor of pole sheds. GreenWood has sold thousands (literally) of farm sheds NZ-wide from several distribution centres located throughout New Zealand. The location of our distribution centres, economies of scale and our highly efficient & effective supplier network enables us to service all NZ very competitively.

GreenWood designs and supplies woolsheds to all corners of New Zealand. We apply the same structural integrity into our woolsheds that we do our sheds. Strong, tidy, aesthetically pleasing, and durable.

Each GreenWood Bridge is engineered & certified to carry either 6,000 or 12,000kg. GreenWood Farm Bridges are 3.0m or 3.6m wide as standard. Wider and higher capacity bridges are available on request. Our bridges are a very economical option for many waterway crossings, and are extremely strong, durable and heavy. Like our sheds, we design and then supply design and kitset, engineered to do the job. Installation is quick by a builder or fencer. The bridges are virtually maintenance free – unlike some culverts
We place a significant emphasis on achieving substantial yard strength and good cattle flow. Only strong, heavy duty materials are specified. We are absolutely committed to achieving significant yard strength and our buying power ensures the Greenwood kitset yards are very cost effective. Our yards are very quiet to work in = settled stock and increased safety. Our buying power and discounts ensure you benefit and the Greenwood cattle yards are almost always substantially lower cost than steel yards. Our national coverage, enabled through our distribution centres across the country, allow us to source materials locally and deliver to any part of NZ, including Great Barrier and Chatham Is.

We supply strong, durable and cost-effective farm sheds and buildings, American barns, cattle yards, stables, barn stables, kits and farm bridges throughout New Zealand. In some areas of New Zealand GreenWood is the largest supplier of sheds!
GreenWood is a privately owned company with a farming and business background. We have a strong understand of farmers’ requirements for horse stables, cattle yards, farm bridges and farm buildings (barn shed, barn stables, farm sheds, calf sheds, feed pad sheds, wintering barns, car & utility sheds), plus many more types of buildings.
All timber products are appropriately treated and all steel products are galvanized (as a minimum) to withstand New Zealand’s tough environment.
